Volunteer with DASK and help advance disability inclusion, advocacy, and social justice across Kenya.

DASK does not currently have paid vacancies unless advertised separately. However, we run a continuous volunteer engagement program for individuals who wish to contribute their skills, time, and passion to disability advocacy. Volunteers gain hands-on experience, mentorship, networking opportunities, and a certificate of service.

👥 Who Can Apply?

  • Students on attachment or internship.
  • Social Work, Law, Public Health, Communications and M&E students.
  • Professionals seeking pro-bono opportunities.
  • Lawyers, doctors, accountants and IT specialists.
  • Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and allies committed to inclusion.

📋 Available Volunteer Roles

  • Community Paralegal – Legal aid and court accompaniment.
  • Peer Monitor – HIV/TB and CLM monitoring support.
  • Communications Assistant – Social media, photography and storytelling.
  • Fundraising & Grants Volunteer – Proposal writing and donor research.
  • Administrative Support – Secretariat support in Nairobi and Machakos.

  • Certificate of Volunteer Service.
  • Recommendation Letter upon successful completion.
  • Exposure to Global Fund, Amref, KCDF and County Government systems.
  • Monthly transport stipend (subject to availability).
  • Priority consideration for future paid opportunities.
