Annacieta Mueni is an Economics, Statistics and Research professional serving as the Treasurer of the Board at Disability Advocacy and Services Kenya (DASK). She is well versed in strategic
planning, performance management, research, data analytics and organizational reporting demonstrated in her role at the Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency where she served on the Agency’s Disability Mainstreaming Committee contributing to the formulation of strategic frameworks and policies to institutionalize inclusion, strengthening her ability to support transparent and data-driven governance and supporting the organization’s mission of promoting inclusion, empowerment and equal opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).
Annacieta possesses a background in Mathematics, Economics, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning and proficiency in analytical and reporting tools including Python, Power BI, SQL, SPSS and Excel, from her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Economics, with IT from Maseno University and professional certification in Monitoring and Evaluation from Kenya Institute of Management.
She is passionate about inclusive development and believes in creating systems that empower Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) to participate fully in social, economic and leadership spaces.
As Treasurer of the Board, Annacieta provides oversight on financial planning, resource accountability and organizational governance. She contributes to strengthening institutional systems that enable DASK to effectively deliver impactful disability advocacy and inclusion programs across Kenya.Her leadership is guided by integrity, professionalism, collaboration and a commitment to advancing inclusive and people-centered development.
Annacieta believes in the transformative power of inclusive policies, accessible systems and community-centered development. Through her work at DASK, she advocates for equitable participation and opportunities for Persons with Disabilities while supporting initiatives that foster dignity, empowerment, and sustainable social change.
