Ms. Shappiro C. Mjambili is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over four (4) years of legal experience, having been admitted to the Bar in November 2021. She has built a strong foundation in litigation practice and has demonstrated professionalism, diligence, and commitment in serving clients and advancing justice.
Since her admission, Ms. Mjambili has practised as a Litigation Associate with broad experience across
diverse areas of law, including Insurance Law, Family and Succession Law, Criminal Law, and Land Law. Her legal practice reflects a keen understanding of dispute resolution and client representation, supported by sound legal research and advocacy skills.
Beyond legal practice, Ms. Mjambili is deeply passionate about Human Rights Law, with particular interest in protecting the rights of vulnerable members of society. Her commitment to social justice is reflected in her academic research and active participation in judicial and community justice initiatives.
As part of her legal studies and professional development, she undertook research on ‘A Critique on the Laws Preventing Child Trafficking Operations in Kenya,’ demonstrating her dedication to addressing systemic challenges affecting children and vulnerable groups.
Ms. Mjambili has actively participated in the Children Justice Service Month, held annually across Kenya, and has served in various pro bono initiatives within the Judiciary to help ensure justice remains accessible to all members of society.
She is recognised as a collaborative and dependable team player who works effectively with stakeholders within the justice system to promote efficiency, fairness, and meaningful access to justice.
